I bought this little wooden moon and her stars (4 of them) at a wonderful little shop near the Rialto Bridge in Venice in 2000, my last business trip before children entered our lives. We were waiting for A. at the time.

A.'s first little horse, a present from my best friend. It was waiting for her to come home back in 2001!
Oh my goodness, that collage brings tears to my eyes - so precious! Our families are such miracles - sisters born in different places to different people than us and yet who can imagine them not being the joy of our hearts - our family!?
