DAY 26 Prima ballerina
Even ballerina's have to eat! Here is our little peanut, she just came back from her weekly ballet lesson, it's already 7:30 PM and she has to eat something before going to bed. Every Monday it's like rush hour, I'm home from work around 5:20 PM and L leaves for ballet at 5:45 PM. I try to give her some dinner (something made in advance) before she leaves but it's not always possible. Here she is, just finished her dinner and is going to enjoy a little dessert. Then it's bath-book-bed! Pffff, those Mondays are stressful but ... she doesn't mind, she LOVES ballet!

Boy do I know about those rushed evenings! We have cheer practice for one daughter on Mondays, cheer for the middle one on Tuesdays and small group on Wednesdays. It gets hectic! I love the headband look!
ReplyDeleteLove the look on her face!
ReplyDeleteWe have crazy ballet Mondays too! It's a stressful way to start the week. Love the photo!! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteIsn't stress what life is made of? We even seem to rush in our little tiny town.
ReplyDeleteWell Monday must be ballet day, its our crazy day too!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and yours as well!!
Been there! Half the time we'd drive through McDonald's but I really tried to limit that. It's tough on working moms to get kids to various activities.
ReplyDeleteAnd a happy CNY to you too, altho belated.
ReplyDeleteYes, this sounds familiar! For us it's Wednesdays. Basketball practice (which luckily a friend takes her to since I can't get there in time) then rush to dance practice. Two hours of ballet, tap, and jazz. She has a snack at after-school care before basketball, then a snack after eaten hurriedly in the car on the way to dance, then a snack at break, and then another after we get home. No "dinner" for her -- she just grazes through.
