DAY 38 Candy bags

Well, tomorrow is the big day! My girls are giving a birthday party. Every year we have about 30 kids and every year we make candy bags for them. Last year I used a Kay Miller kit for the tags. This year I made them with Lliella's gorgeous CNY - Chinese New Year kit. I put an ox for the Year 2009 on the tags but every child also gets the animal representing his or her year of birth. It took me all evening to sort out the dates and make the tags with the different animals but I love the result. And my girls love them too. Last year, the bags were a real success, the moms loved my tags... the kids loved the sweets and the cool bags too!

  6. Wow, these are beautiful! Did you use a template for the bag topper to get the right size or just make it yourself? How cool! I'd love to try something like this for Lizzie's birthday party next month..but it will be much smaller group of kids!
